Breast-feeding mother detained for injuring neighbour

A middle aged nursing mother whose name we got as Florentine is presently under detention at the Deido district police station for assault.
Florentine is said to have raised hell on her neighbour M.K Rehenatou, by pouring hot water which caused her victim to sustain second degree burns on her face, chest and legs.
The accident was the result of a quarrel that broke out last Thursday between Renehatou and her neighbour Florentine. According to witnesses, the quarrel ensued after Rehenatou who is fond of trespassing on Florentine’s veranda, unconsciously poured water on the occupant. Instead of apologising to Florentine, Rehenatou is reported to have been very unapologetic for the act. It is against this backdrop that Florence in retaliation, pour very hot water that was meant to prepared rice on her victim.
Florentine’s husband, a driver by profession, lamented over the incident saying their two-month-old baby was forced into feeding solely on baby food as the mother was now in police custody.
